Caffeinated Tea Blend

For the August OGA Tea Guild member blend, we took inspiration from Hozier's album Unreal Unearth. This is a black tea blend with cacao husk and nib, vanilla bean, lapsang souchong, and Icelandic moss: something slightly reminiscent of whiskey, deep rich mossy earthiness, and something a little bit sweet from the chocolate notes, but not too sweet.

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Black tea, cacao nib and husk, lapsang souchong tea, icelandic moss, vanilla bean.

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
