For the February OGA Tea Guild mystery blend, we continued to look at some latin roots with a blend based on a refreshing and tangy take on an agua de jamaica with a Puerto Rican spiced flair. This is a rooibos and hibiscus base to give a fruity tangy ruby rich flavor forward, spiced with sweet crystalized ginger and spiced with clove and cinnamon with some sprinkling of cornflower reminiscent of the sky blue independence of the Puerto Rican flag.

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Hibiscus, rooibos, crystalized ginger (ginger, sugar), cinnamon, cornflower, clove

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
