“…when they came nearer they saw that the house was built of bread, and roofed with cakes, adn the window was of transparent sugar.
‘We will have some of this,’ said Hansel, ‘and make a fine meal. I will eat a piece of the root, Gretel, and you can have some of the window - that will taste sweet.’
So Hansel reached up and broke off a bit of the roof, just to see how it tasted, and Gretel stood by the window and gnawed at it.” -From “Hansel & Gretel” by the Brothers Grimm

Non-Caffeinated Tea Blend
An herbal tisane based on the gingerbread house our brother and sister duo find themselves munching up while lost in the woods. This blend is in particular based on the traditional German sweet, lebkuchen, and the ingredients you find here wouldn’t be too far off from a traditional recipe. Hexenhaus is a sweet and richly spiced brew that wouldn’t go amiss with a dash of honey or maple, or if you want to try your hand at a latte is makes a delicious gingerbread-y brew.
The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.
Honeybush tea, candied ginger, buckwheat, ginger, lemon peel, orange peel, aniseseed, allspice, clove, nutmeg.
All ingredients are organic.
There are two sizes available: large jar (10 oz by VOLUME), and bag (roughly 2.3 oz by WEIGHT)

The perfect tea for enjoying the cool autumn evenings in upstate Washington. Warm, spicy and complex, and perfect as an herbal blend so that it can be savored before hunkering down for the evening. One of my go-tos
So Hexenhaus was the second tea blend I ordered along with my first one (Hearthglow) and I’m so glad I chose it. If you’re in a mood for good spiced tea but not in the mood for black tea/caffeinated tea this is absolutely delicious herbal blend!
The smell and taste of the warm herby spices is so comforting & enchanting ~!
If you’ve ever read T.J. Klune’s “Under the Whispering Door” (there is sooo much tea drinking in this wonderful book) there’s mention of this little ghost girl who loves the gingerbread tea that the owner of the Charon's Crossing tea shop gives her to help her feel better. This tea really reminds me of those parts of the book.
One of the best teas I've ever had. Warm, spiced, complex, balanced, imaginative, beautiful to look at, and creatively inspiring. The lack of caffeine makes it a fool-proof gift. Fantastic with milk and a bit of sugar or honey. I can't recommend this blend enough.
I recently cut back on caffeine, and this warm spiced herbal blend made it so easy! An absolutely delightful cup for any time of the day or night.
From the sweet intensity of Hexenhaus to the soothing richness of Jack Frost, I LOVE your blends.
