Caffeinated Tea Blend

For the January OGA Tea Guild member blend, we invited the phoenix-bursting into flame to destroy the old and only through the ashes coming anew. A black tea blend including lapsang souchong for smoke, warm spicy heat from ginger, a delightfully aromatic punch of orange, and the colors of flames throughout with safflower and calendula.

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Black tea, ginger, safflower, orange peel, calendula, lapsang souchong

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
