The circus arrives without warning.
Tea Notes: Chocolate / Caramel Popcorn / Spiced Apple
Caffeinated Tea Blend
Close your eyes, take a sip, and transport yourself to the magic and mystery of Le Cirque des Rêves. This black spiced tea, made in collaboration with Erin Morgenstern, brings you all the delicacies and delights of the circus in a cup. The brew opens with notes of toasty popcorn from genmaicha which mellow into a delicate grassy note as the black tea and spices take over-like a waft of air from the night darkened fields the black and white tents make their mysterious home in. A delicate swirl of smoke from lapsang souchong curls at the edges of the brew, reminiscent of the bonfire that keeps the magic of the circus alive. Indulge with notes of chocolate, caramel, and spiced apple as though you've got your hands full of delicate chocolate mice, caramel drizzled popcorn, and a steaming concoction of spiced cider.
This tea evokes the cozy embrace of autumn and pulls at the strings of nostalgia and longing for a world that is a bit more magical than our day to day. But remember, magic arrives without warning and you can brew yourself up a cozy cup any time you wish-no tents required. Don your brightest red alongside your fellow Rêveurs, and taste what the circus has in store for you.

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night.
But behind the scenes, a fierce competition is underway—a duel between two young magicians, Celia and Marco, who have been trained since childhood expressly for this purpose by their mercurial instructors. Unbeknownst to them, this is a game in which only one can be left standing, and the circus is but the stage for a remarkable battle of imagination and will. Despite themselves, however, Celia and Marco tumble headfirst into love—a deep, magical love that makes the lights flicker and the room grow warm whenever they so much as brush hands.
True love or not, the game must play out, and the fates of everyone involved, from the cast of extraordinary circus performers to the patrons, hang in the balance, suspended as precariously as the daring acrobats overhead.
An extra special thank you to Erin's cat Vesper for making an appearance in one of the photos!
The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Everything in this blend works so well together. The apple and candied ginger give it a touch of sweetness, and the spices complement the tea nicely. Perfect companion to one of my favorite books
I admit I bought this tea solely because of the tie-in to The Night Circus novel that I love. The tea is very good, though! The tea blend smells like it would have a heavier spicy taste because of the clove scent, however, drinking it is a mellow taste with a lot of different flavors coming in on the backend.
I recommend drinking this tea while curling up in your favorite reading chair enjoying a good book (obviously The Night Circus is a good choice but any book will do).
A perfect match to Morgenstern's magic tale. A complex and deep blend that almost seems to have a bit of magic of its own
The Night Circus is my favorite book of all time and this just nails it. Normally people focus on the popcorn and sweets but this oh my god it's perfect and balanced and has that good robust tea flavor in there. Not all sweet. Aromatic. The Good Bitter. Ugh so good. So not only does it nail the theme but its just a proper cuppa while your at it. 10/10.
This tea has a nice smoky, warm, comforting taste that evokes the feeling of an autumn night. It pairs absolutely perfectly with The Night Circus and helps create the feeling you are wandering around the circus at night with a nice cup of warm tea.
