Caffeinated Tea Blend

For the January OGA Tea Guild member blend we focused on a favorite fantasy series, Earthsea by Ursula K Le Guin. The blend for this theme gave us a little bit of land and sea with the ever so slightly briny vegetal quality that a rich green tea brings as its base with aromatic elderflower, lemongrass, and some sharp lemon peel. 

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Green tea, elderflower, lemongrass, lemon peel

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
