Tea Notes: Seductive / Chocolatey / Spiced

Caffeinated Tea Blend

This tea has been made in collaboration with author S.T. Gibson to bring the brides of Dracula to life in her bloodthirsty polyamorous story. A seductive and dark blend of toasty hojicha tea rounded with cacao, earthy beet, and rooibos swirling with the aromatic spice notes of cardamom and sweet vanilla. It brews up a blood red color and has a toasty chocolate flavor perfectly spiced with the rounded note of vanilla to top it off. Aromatic and aphrodisiac, it is a fitting brew for this tale.

A Smooth Blend to Sink your Teeth in too 🩸 ☕

This review is a little overdue since I bought my jar of “A Dowry of Blood” tea blend last year but here it is finally.

This blend is a little different then what I’m used to taste wise but I find myself enjoying it a lot!
The beet root and rooibos give it a nice red color (it is a vampire inspired blend after all). Also with beet root, rooibos, cacao and vanilla bean it gives the tea this natural herbal smooth sweetness to the flavor. To give the tea some nice spice/nut notes are the hojicha tea and cardamom.

I’d give this blend a chance if all the ingredients sound appealing to you, and if you like a good vampire story I highly recommend the book this blend was named after by S.T. Gibson (it’s a great read!).

Vibrant, Decadent, and Complex

Absolutely delightful. The flavors are so rich and decadent. The beet root doesn’t only add its earthiness but a vibrant ruby red color reminiscent of blood. It is by no means sugary and yet there is a dark sweetness to it. Perfect to curl up with on cool stormy evenings. I used 1 1/2 Tbsp for a large pot and found 6 minutes was a good steep to get the full flavor.
