Caffeinated Tea Blend

For the May OGA Tea Guild we wandered to Italy to the streets of neighborhood pasticceria shops. For the mystery blend, the focus was another favorite: sfogliatella

This blend is a black tea combined with rooibos to give a balance of richness across both flavors with a hearty hand of buckwheat to contribute its toastiness to the blend. Orange peel and cinnamon come in to give their characteristic flavors of the pastry to the blend.

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Buckwheat, orange peel, rooibos, black tea, cinnamon

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
