Caffeinated Tea Blend

Sword is  a hearty and rich tea with buckwheat, dried fruit, woodsy notes, and spices. Perfect for any daring knight on their way to fight a dragon, compete in a tourney, get into a duel, rescue persons in distress, storm a castle, and spend many a long night on the road, for the road goes ever on and on...

This is a general release of the OGA Tea Guild themed blends. To join the tea club and receive access to the member releases when they happen, sign up for the OGA Tea Guild during the open period of the 1-5 of each month!

 

Recommend infusion of 1-2 tablespoon of loose tea per 8 oz of hot water and infusing for at least 5 minutes. The flavors and scent will change the longer it steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

 

Ingredients:

Black tea, apple, buckwheat, currants, ginger, cedar, allspice, ground ivy.

A great warming flavored blend

Since I’m a member of the OGA Tea Guild I already have a pouch of this hearty blend from the May theme “Sword & Sorcery”, I’m planning on buying a big jar of this blend later this month (since I really like it ~!) but for right now this review is from the small amount I have at the moment.

This Sword tea is a really good spiced blend, just like what the taste description says it’s rich, hearty & toasty with the black tea, buckwheat, ginger and allspice.
The dried fruit of the apple pieces and currents gives the blend a sweet touch. And on the edges there’s the cedar and ivy that leave a taste of wood green on the tongue.
This is definitely a good tea to have in the autumn but for me I also like drinking it in the summer because of those forest flavor tastes, but that’s just me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

So my fellow tea drinking travelers, if the long road and journey have got you weary I recommend this soothing bold brew to lift those adventurous spirits!
