For the May OGA Tea Guild Member blend, we celebrated the language of flowers: Floriography.

A black tea base with apples, linden, allspice, peach blossoms, dandelion root, and rosemary. So what does this brew spell for us? Well...

Apples: temptation

Linden: conjugal love

Allspice: compassion

Peach blossoms: I am your captive

Dandelion: rustic oracle

Rosemary: remembrance

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

 

Ingredients:

Black tea, apple, peach blossom, dandelion root, linden, rosemary, allspice.
The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.

A kaleidoscope of enchantments

Love all of the layers to this one, from the earthy dandelion to the fruitiness of the apple. The apple and spice elements almost bring to mind fall rather than spring, but then again, the rosemary adds a refreshing quality that feels very spring appropriate after all when juxtaposed against the fruity and floral elements. Regardless of what season it can be said to suit, this is a delicious black tea blend with plenty of character.
