Caffeinated Tea Blend

For the May OGA Tea Guild we visited the folk horror classic Wicker Man. Summerisle is a white tea base with a heavy simmering note of herbaceous delights with lemon balm, anise hyssop, and tulsi. What is a trip to Summerisle without apples, though? This blend will be fragrant with apples and kissed by their sweetness with a touch of cinnamon and allspice to lend a spicy aroma. And we couldn't have a blend for Beltane and May Day without a splash of color so calendula petals will offer their cheery sunshine hue sprinkled throughout the blend. 

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Apple, lemon balm, cinnamon, white tea, allspice, tulsi, anise hyssop, calendula

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
