Tea Notes: Rich | Light Citrus | Teacake Spice

In this spirit of J.R.R. Tolkien’s hobbits as we encounter them in all his stories, I made this blend as an ode to the hungry and homey race. This is a breakfast-style blend with two varieties of black tea. Blended together with milky oats to offer their calm and slight green flavor, it is finished with caraway seeds and lemon thyme to offer the memory of seedcakes and lemon cakes from hearty repasts and delicacies hobbits adored.

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Black tea, caraway seed, milky oats†, and lemon thyme†.

†locally sourced | All ingredients are organic.

There are two sizes available: large jar (10 oz by VOLUME), and bag (roughly 1.25 oz by WEIGHT)

Like sipping on toast

Such a lovely blend, it's so cozy, the caraway makes the tea taste like rye bread. I love adding a dash of oat mik <3

Midday Friendly Perk-up; Shareable and Nostalgic

Tied for my second-favorite OGA tea. Smells like homemade buttered carayway rye. Warms the soul. Don't steep too long, or it can get bitter.
