For the July OGA Tea Guild member blend, we had 

From the Depths, taking inspiration from the dark and mysterious folkloric tales of monsters from the sea. Some particular inspiration stories are some of my favorites or ones that have been on the brain lately: selkies and sirens-but why stop there? Hic sunt dracones-here be dragons at the edges of the maps so let's see what your spyglass wants to unveil to you while you walk the deck on a moonless night.

This blend is a green tea base with shiso for some lovely little saltspray aquatic reminiscent aromatics, and lemony notes from dried peel and lemon thyme. A bright citrusy herbaceous brew that will be excellent chilled or brewed by the heat of the sun!

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Green tea, shiso, lemon peel, lemon thyme.

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
