Made in collaboration with Marlowe Lune, and the Merry Blackbird Postcard Society, The Storyteller is a smooth and sweet tea blend made with the flowery and seductive language of the storyteller themself. A mellow black tea offers a robust but smooth base to keep your rapt to every word while vanilla sweetens and adds a seductive charm. Rosebuds and osmanthus swirl in for an aromatic nose and delightfully floral note. This ode to the charm of storytellers is meant to coax you with its delicacy and sooth you in comfort while it whispers "more" ever so softly to bring you back again.

 

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Not a bad tea

I can taste the rose buds just fine, but for some reason I can't taste the vanilla.

Truly a delectable floral cup of tea 🌹☕✨

This review is for my Tea Guild packet of “The Storyteller” and for my large jar I bought during the early sale of this blend.

Much like how I was originally introduced to OGA with their “Hearthglow” collaboration with artist Marlowe Lune this tea blend of “The Storyteller” is another wonderful collaboration with enchanting tastes from Old Growth and a gorgeous visual illustration from Marlowe (you can check out the stunning art piece that goes with this tea blend on Marlowe Lune’s website for Instagram account).

With this blend its great black tea base with lovely soft floral and sweet vanilla notes. It’s a perfect tea to have for spring and summer time, or if you just need a little break from the blends with spices during the cold months.

The flavor really does put in the mindset for blooming garden flowers and maybe taking a moment to sit down and crack open a tale from one of your favorite folktale books.
