Caffeinated Tea Blend

For the April OGA Tea Guild Mystery blend, we spent time slowly sipping with this Chartreuse inspired blend. While it does not contain the array of ingredients as it's namesake liqueur, it is an ode to the vibrant herbaceous and aromatic drink. A base of oolong and green tea is topped with cinnamon, anise hyssop, rosemary, lemon thyme, peppermint, and angelica root.

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Oolong, cinnamon, green tea, anise hyssop, angelica root, lemon thyme, rosemary, peppermint.

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
