Non-Caffeinated Tea Blend

For the October OGA Tea Guild member blend, we had Pumpkin King. Honeybush, burdock root, and chicory act as our base which will be strung through with buckwheat for a toasty rich flavor, and a cheeky addition of beet root will let us brew up a bloody red hued drink as a conspiratorial wink for my fellow horror fans out there. Pumpkin flavor in abundance will add to the natural sweetness of the tea with our favorite fall spices to bolster its aromatics and curling warmth around the tongue. Cinnamon, clove, ginger, and nutmeg will be our main spice profiles giving us a blend that tastes like a cozy pumpkin pie fresh out of the oven with its color hinting at something darker.

The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Pumpkin, honeybush, chicory, cinnamon, burdock, beet root, ginger, clove, buckwheat, black pepper, nutmeg.

The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea.
