This tea has been made in collaboration with author Victoria Mier for her debut novel, Beyond the Aching Door. The tea companion combines some of the lush notes from Mier's work ranging from old books, the dangerously dark scent notes from the Fey king, and brings to mind ancient secrets, yearnings, and things long forgotten. A blend of black tea is the star here with sweetness from honeybush and vanilla smoothing out and enriching the taste while a subtle swirl of lapsang souchong plays at the edges of your tastebuds mixing with sharp black pepper. Dark, dangerous, seductive.
